I hate any program that installs shit on the computer and runs during startup. I don't care if you can uninstall it easy (which is atleast a good thing with these programs) make it so it doesn't boot up with fucking windows slowing the entire machine down.

Jim is fired, moviepass is pulled and i am personally going to contact each person who installed this scumware and pay them $300 and applogise for ruining theirlives.....

on second thought no i am not. fuck it. I stand behind Jim and the decissions he makes. mistakes are made in biz all the time.. I have yet to determine if this was one.

until then, it stays up.. if determined it is infact hurting our surfers and affiliates and our numbers.. with all 3 taken into consideration, the end result will be removal of the instal and exit adn replaced with something else.

the issue is Jim getting a bunch of shit from a few haters on a decission he made. He also stated multiple times that it would be removed if found to infact be mailicious scumware.

when you broke fucks figure out that multi million dollar companies dont cater to your every little piss and moan the second it arises, and the fact it takes time to determine its impact on several factors of a businesses... then we will all be alot further in the game of life and business.

It is extremely clear that it is malicious scumware. Honestly, nobody who takes 15 minutes to do some research can miss it.

ok well its 2:22 am here and everyone is asleep that works for epiccash... so maybe not right this second or in the next few hours.. but tomorrow during normal working hours this will be discussed and delt with.

as far as pulling them, its not that simple. a contract is a contract and that will have to be negociated aswell not that its anyones business.

in anycase, it will be delt with tomorrow and the proper action will be taken when I determine and Jim dtermines its infact harmful to our business, my affiliates and the end users.

I hope you guys make the right decision. It seems clear, to me at least, from the amount of complaints about MP all around the internet, that they are seriously pissing off and freaking out end users, and thus general user trust, and the industry as whole. Even if the users are the ones to blame for not being careful, it makes little difference.

I don't mean to nag, but all of this trouble could have been avoided with a single Google search. Nine of the first 10 Google search results for "moviepass.tv" are complaints about this program -- you can't get a much stronger warning than that. Doing even the quickest research can spare you days of computing heartache.

"Strictly business" implies not simply business, but good business. It isn't good business for you if you end up with this kind of reaction and it wasn't good business for anyone else when you started sending exit traffic to someone who proceeded to give surfers yet another reason to distrust us all.

Surely to heaven, when someone comes out of nowhere and offers you more than other buyers, it should be a warning signal. But in any case, is every short-term cent so f*cking important that you can't stick with a list of tested and proven buyers? Apart from avoiding this kind of situation, yours isn't a fly-by-night business, so would it be so damn terrible to have a fixed tariff for your exits, making it easier for regular buyers to work with you?

Is this the kind of install that the surfer has to actually approve or is it some shit where it is installed automatically...If a surfer APPROVES of the install and actually has to click on the shit, then "technically" you can't fault Epic...

However, a lot of surfers are dumb and will click on anything, even if you tell them NOT to click it (which will make them click more)....That means that Epic might be taking advantage of the poor dumb surfer...

Also, if the software does nothing to take sales away from another affiliate or steal traffic, even though it is morally wrong and a bad business decision, it's still on the up and up..
