There are so many children in the system who need homes now. I think that the primary concern should be if 2 people can give a loving and safe environment, not who they choose to sleep with at the end of the night.

I don't think it matters. If everyone passes a criminal background check and they are financially able, then gay or straight should be able to adopt. I'm sure there are plenty of kids who end up better being raised by gays than by dysfunctional straight parents, at times.

Yes one of my cloestest friend is Bi I've hung out with gays before. I've stayed the night at gay guys houses before. Gays that wanted me. Does that seem like I have a "problem" with gays. When I was a kid, people who had divorced parents got teased bad. Nowadays kids should be happy if their parents still live together when they are in school. So that's not an issue anymore.

I can just imagine what kids with gay parents would have to go through in school. Give it another 10 years and maybe kids will tolerate it.

If adults tolerate it is not the problem, it's if other kids tolerate it that is the problem.

I can find no valid reason to not allow it.

If someone is willing to go the adoption route, hop through the gazillion hoops required, pass the assorted tests and qualifications, and give a child stability by removing them from foster care or a group home. I do not give a rats ass what they do in their sex lives with consenting adults.

Also do not use the "kid will be teased" cop out. Kids get teased regardless. Kids get teased just for being adopted, looking different, or a variety of reasons. I know I would rather be mocked and teased every single moment of my childhood for having gay parents over growing up in foster care or a group home.

So if you have a real objection that has some real merrit please post it.
