Hi All,

On both of my macs with OSX 10.4.6, ICQ crashes whenever I try to add a contact. Any ideas?

Dual processor G5 and a G4 Imac as well. How do you uninstall it, just grag to the trash? I have done that already and no dice.

Thanks, Mitch

Steps to fix your problem:

1. Unplug your Macs and put them in the storage room.

2. Come grab one of the shiny new PCs in my office.

3. Install ICQ.

4. Enjoy your real computer.

ICQ sucks ass on macs, about 2 years ago I finally got one install to work, and I haven't touched it since and it works great still... how did I get it to work? Trashed ICQ's prefs over and over till it stopped corrupting itself.

They haven't updated the mac version in over 3 years... fuckers

Your contact list is full. Time to switch to Adium.

Uneducated person typing. ANY mouse works on a Mac. And Apple also has a two button mouse as well.

Adium is awesome. I have had it for about a year. Never a problem.

You are a funny guy Ben.

ICQ does suck. I downloaded and have started using Adium and it seems to be great. However, how do I get rid of the groups that it created without losing the accounts users within that account?

Thanks, Mitch
