The ENTIRE program is being redone. It was never setup from the begining to handle a super large affiliate program. If you know about oscommerce (and I know some others on there know what I am talking about) the affiliate setups that were out there to work with osc were barely passable. They did the job, but very poorly.

Does anyone here REALLY want them to
A. Totally shut down the whole affiliate program while they retool, or
B. Waste valuable programmer time on fixing a program that is going to be scrapped in the very near future?

Lots of people have made, lots of money for years on this program. Its frankly just having severe growing pains, and its time to start over. End of story. Give Ramos some time to get the things that need done done. Im sure alot of you would prefer he just monitor the boards 24/7 and answer the same questions you ask over and over and over again. :1orglaugh

Actually Ive spent quite a bit of time with Ramos in the last few months. We sat in his room and talked all about what was going on at Fleshlight yesterday. I currently run a program using oscommerce for a backend, and I know EXACTLY what the problems they are dealing with are. Im going through EXACTLY the same issues they are. And for the record the only drinks bought for me by anyone are the sponsors of the shows who pay for the open bars. :thumbsup

There is no need for mud-slinging in this thread by anyone regardless of the reason. If you have a genuine concern with fleshlight you would hit ramos up directly. Every program has growing pains at some stage and I'm sure that any issues will be ironed out and fleshlight will contine selling like hotcakes.

What does using oscommerce have to do with traffic leaks, not answering their ICQ/email/phone and insulting small webmasters?

ONE LAST TIME!! They are TOTALLY REBUILDING THEIR PROGRAM FROM SCRATCH!! Now WHY would they WASTE TIME on fixing a BROKEN program that is going to be scrapped in a few short weeks?? Maybe they are having trouble answering requests due to the fact that they are busting their asses fixing the problems that the affiliates are contacting about? Maybe many of these issues are answered on the affiliate page itself?

Listen its not like me and Ramos call each other every night and have phone sex and pretend we are cuddling long distance.... Ok well not every night... :winkwink: Im by no means best buds with Ramos, but I like Ramos. He and Juicy were two of the nicest people to me at my first show. Both made me feel welcome. Went out of their way to do that actually. People like that deserve respect. Classy people get my business and my respect.

I think a lot of people are bitching about the TREATMENT they got when complaining ... and you are just perpetuating that. Telling affiliates they don't matter is just silly -- it makes no difference who it's coming from or what the circumstances are.

I think many ppl are missing the point here. It's not a problem he is often away to shows etc. What is wrong, is the fact he ignored the posts on GFY, and said something like: Juicy blabla(so he DID read them). Then he started a thread with fuck the haters, and laughted at people with 1 join....

fleshlight is a good program they just need to work some kinks out...I have tried most sponsers and fleshlight makes me more money than 95% of others so if they ever get things worked out they will be one of the best if not the best program of its kind. some people are just haters
