-Judsmovies.com was down for 20 to 30 hours in the last two days, while servers were being upgraded, followed by gateway problems, Lost about 130k in traffic

-My smaller sites are on this dedicated server in florida somewhere, with a company charging me left and right, 500 here and there, totally unauthorized, wont budge, visa has to do an investigation

-Overture has been charing me 50/month for no reason at all, for some stupid ad campaign I apparently purcahsed 3 months back. Guy was a total dick when I called...... THey even have in my account me saying "Cancel this service and refund my money" but oh no, thats not clear enough (they even refunded me the first time and cancelled me,) yet they charged me for another 3 months.

On top of all this when I move all my sites, I have to reconfigure EVERYTHING AGAIN...... nightmare...........

Pipecrew, is that indicative of Candidhosting service??? My hosting companies does my server upgrades whenever necessary and they ensure that it's seamless (half hour down at the most has been my experience).

On another note, any tried choopa.com hosting? They run free host xtac.com which seems to be a great free host. Their prices seem reasonable...anybody know?

Candidhosting is in no way at fault...... The service was there, my server was just taken offline by other people to do upgrades, not candid..... It was another company that is screwing me

I am keeping judsmovies.com at Candid, but I am going to move the rest of my stuff to Likewhoa.com They have awesome speeds and from what I understand excellent support

Pipecrew, I understand that you're in Canada. What kind of limit do you have on your credit cards? Do you use American CC's? Canadian dollars don't go very far for American hosting. On the other hand you must love the exchange rate when you recieve those American checks

it can get worse.. i lost 2 years of sites, galleries, work becouse of a fire on the hosting company and same week my backup harddrive with my sites got brooken.
so starting from 0 for 3 month ago
