In new system is the welcome mail the very first email with a lock next to it?
In my personal account the welcome email where imported into the system and can't be deleted.

Try changing the password on your account, that should also change the password on your email and you would be able to login to your email.

Can the messages into the messaging system be forwarded to my external emails ? Because that is one way where I know when I've received payment.

Also, if I misplaced my epass password and request for a Reset, would that go to the messaging system or my external email ?

Tried again with the password that I was assigned (before I changed it) and that pass still works.

This is where it gets funny. Just for kicks I tried using the new pass I made up for the old email, and it worked. I have a feeling I should get my money out while I can.

Cant you all at least transfer the ONE e-mail that has all of the virtual card details into the new system, or just show the CVV2 on the account page? After all, there is no record of that information anywhere else, right? So if you dont hang onto this e-mail your virtual card is forever fucked?

I dont have a bunch of financial information in the e-mail box so thats not a huge problem for me but I am sure the affiliates and others who send massive amounts of ePass around would really like to kill someone right about now.

Why does this too have to be such a clusterfuck? There are so many problems with ePassporte, so many things that need to be fixed. Of all the things that need to be fixed, you all pick the one that no one complains about and that no one has a problem with?

I found that if you go to Account and login/password and change your password there, it seems to only effect the old email system. Might try that

This is what pisses me off - have you looked at your account or read the rest of this thread - THEY HAVE PUT THE FIRST EMAIL WITH THE CCV2 IN THE MESSAGE SYSTEM - its the first message in there and its locked.

For fuck sake you are meant to be webmasters and you cant work out how to use a basic site. I saw someone post that they forwarded the emails to thieir email and they just came back to Epass - they sent them to thier fucking epass email!! :Oh crap

I would like to know this too. The last transaction I made, wich is the 1st one that appeared in this new message center, was also forwarded to my external email address. But that might have happened because I received that message in the old email system too.

Well, I've checked the old email system and there last few transactions made appeared both in the old and new messaging system so the forward could have come from the old one and not the new.

I did send Support one ticket against about that but have not received a reply for almost a week now. This is sad.

Oh, I agree. Its not on my box either, used to have to use it at work. Well, as the other guy mentioned, they are text files (didnt know that until I went and found one and opened it in Notepad). You can assoicate the .eml extension with Notepad and use that or just put them on a linux server and use vi or pico.

A few will always react that way when anyone changes anything. But as you point out, EP is a service and it just happens to be one which since its inception has been a pain in the ass to deal with, whenever even minor things go wrong. Hence the cynical reaction from more people than usual.

That's something which EP could have anticipated and if it bothered them, taken more care than usual. I doubt anyone disputes their motivation for making the changes, but for them to be as painless as possible, how hard would it have been to leave the current mail archives in place? Very simple. The point about the omission is that it is symptomatic, rather like those companies which keep you waiting 10 minutes while telling you how important your call is, of a service company which perceives customers as a necessary nuisance, rather than one which examines everything it does with a view to their satisfaction.

I definitely cannot receive my forward email....I checked all spam filters I have on my mail, and there was nothing which came from epass......very interesting...hmmm

I dont understand what your saying . im just saying it should be easy to access .. it hasnt been.. regardless of the means or method , its not easy , it should be.. thats all.

If the cvv2 number is going to be in the account anyways why make it hard to find, if someone "hacked" into my epassporte card , they would most likely just check my email for the cvv2 right ?

So why not just simplify it for the customers. by displaying the cvv2 right next to the visa number
