Online Degree?

I need to take some online college classes, the problem im having is that i need a school that lets you start your new classes immediately after finishing the first class(es)

For example, i just spoke to a school that lets you take 2 classes at a time (which is fine) but you have to wait 7 weeks before beginning your next 2 classes.

Anyone go through this before?

Why do you have to wait 7 weeks before starting the new ones?

Btw, long time since I saw you here

hm, probably your best bet is to ask if you can take more than 2 classes at a time, many colleges do that but you'll have to justify your application somehow -
spaek to them, you have nothing to lose

I haven't tried any online degrees yet, good luck if you will pursue it.

There are a lot of *excellent* online schools, and the best ones are NOT the ones who advertise everywhere. I would highly recommend checking out Charter Oak State College (www.cosc.edu) and Thomas Edison State College (www.tesc.edu) Both are state schools that exclusively do distance and online education. You can take as many classes as you can handle, but even better, you can do challenge exams for any course material that you're already familiar with and get credit for it. Both schools are accredited by the same accrediting body that does Harvard, Princeton, etc., so no worries there. Both schools will also take unlimited credits from other schools, so you can transfer in groups of credits you've taken at other places and assemble what you need to graduate. If you already have the knowledge that one would get from a typical 4 year college education and can prove it through testing and challenge exams, it's actually possible to earn an accredited degree in under 6 months.

I've had a strong interest in distance learning for a long time, and am involved with the website www.degreeinfo.com, which is the largest distance learning discussion site on the web. You'll find an insane amount of helpful tips in the message archive, and a bunch of useful articles.

Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.

I have no idea, i hope all schools arent like that. I dont mind sticking to just 2 classes at one time, but it would be nice to begin new classes directly after completing the first 2.

One funny rant i have,

All these schools rave about how they cater to adults with other responsibilities, and families, careers, etc.

then why do the support lines close at 5pm?!??!

Jesus christ im having such a hard time getting info, because they are all closed by the time i get out of work.

ok end of rant, thanks lol
