On my stats in a popular affiliate program on 5/7/06 I noticed $99.11 was charged back in its percentage program, and that I now owed the program money! Negative balance.
I sent them the short note below:
What happened to my percentage stats on May 7th? Shows I owe you money!

There response:
Thank you for your e-mail. There was a big chargeback on that day for a year's membership. If you have further questions, please e-mail us again.

So since when is the affiliate responsible for a years chargeback in a program unless it was fraud or something? I have been in allot of programs, but have never seen this.

yeah I've seen it, it sucks but no need to go overboard IMO, but hey you're not alone, I have a negative balance on a per signup program, now how that works is beyond me
