WTF? Is this common?
 

On my stats in a popular affiliate program on 5/7/06 I noticed $99.11 was charged back in its percentage program, and that I now owed the program money! Negative balance.
I sent them the short note below:
What happened to my percentage stats on May 7th? Shows I owe you money!

There response:
Thank you for your e-mail. There was a big chargeback on that day for a year's membership. If you have further questions, please e-mail us again.

So since when is the affiliate responsible for a years chargeback in a program unless it was fraud or something? I have been in allot of programs, but have never seen this.:mad: :mad:

sounds like you need to cancel membership

I'm thinking about doing just that.

yeah I've seen it, it sucks but no need to go overboard IMO, but hey you're not alone, I have a negative balance on a per signup program, now how that works is beyond me

Guess if I drop the program, I get billed! LOL:1orglaugh
