Changing file attributes in Win XP
Fuck Win XP!!! Can anyone tell me why i canīt change the file attributes on some folders+files so I can rename them? I just got some content sets, and no matter what I do I canīt change the folder names.. itīs really frustrating when I have to spend time on such simple tasks!! This is happening pretty often in XP, I remove the file/folder attributes and try to rename the folder and it says:
"Canīt rename folder BLAHH: itīs being used by another person or program" WTF i just downloaded the content.. Please help im going nuts.. this happens both when i want to delete a file and rename it. Nick |

if it still doesn't work, then ctrl alt delete and close all running programs. then try. |

OK it helped on some folder to restart but itīs still not all of them that can be renamed, itīs like they are locked in some strange way...
but thanks for the reply anyway  |
