Very cool idea. Of course some people will always think "but how do I know these are REAL numbers"; I don't see much can be done for those cases though and this might help attract some new people or make people trust you more.

I think maybe we'll use this idea as well - I'll bring it up actually in our next meeting in 15 minutes

I dont think sponsors who play with their stats to make them look good(2nd page or join page ratios, etc), would be honest with real time numbers.
