Have you tried the Body Bare? I just got one a few months ago, and I love it. I am Latina, so my hairs are very coarse and thick and I have still had zero problems with patchy shaving or red bumps, or ingrowns since I started using it.

It's a shaver. I do have to use it daily, but it takes no time at all, and it has never pinched me, and, like I said, I'm hairy, lol, so I have to get in all my nooks and crannies to stay smooth, heh. You can use it to keep the boys trimmed up, too. Trust me, guys with shaved nuts get more head.

I wax. It lasts a few weeks and even though it's a little more painful, it's much more convenient and looks much better. I'd never go back to shaving.

If you want permanent, it will probably have to be laser. But I agree... no way in hell I would have that done in Mexico, lol.
