RSS Blogging = Complicated Shit
I thought blogging was supposed to make life simple.
I can get my blogs syndicated, but I just get a summary of the post from the original blog not the entire post with links. Can anyone tell me how to do it? I just want to create posts on my original blog and have a secondary blog syndicate those posts. I can make it work, but I only get a summary of the original post, no images or links. By the way, I am using wordpress. |

Yes, that is what I was using. WEbcamcash had a great tutorial on how to use it. But when I try and syndicate my own blogs is when I have trouble. I guess it could be a problem with how the posts or original rss feed is set up, but it pretty simple stuff = pic, text and link etc.. |

In wordpress admin under options>reading select full text. This is for your own feed, nothing you can do about other feeds that are not full text.
feedwordpress can only pull what's in the feed, if it's decription only feeds, then you are out of luck. Take a look at http://www.autobloggerpro.com we are planning some cool features for 2.5 that would make problems like yours a thing of the past. YARGH!

FunForOne,
Chio is saying that you can set your feed options in Wordress so that you can have full feeds or just descriptions. |
