I hope Tala is ok. When Im asked by someone to borrow money, I ask myself if I never see it will it bother me. If the amount produces a yes then I dont do it.

I do the same. Difference is though I still keep the right to be a little pissy about it when you have been avoided, even after you told said person they could just do some work to pay it back.

Funny that these stories are coming out now. I referred her to someone who needed some work done. This was a couple of days after she had posted a big thread about her being broke and needing work. You hit it right on the head. Just because she happened to be a nice chick who posted a a few good morning threads, people treated her like she couldn't do no wrong.
