Obviously she is so busy and doing so damn well that she has totally spaced that she owes me a grand. So I am presumming that whatever she is doing or wherever she is, it does not have email, icq, aim, gtalk, msn, or anything.

It really is a shame too. I like helping people but ever since her when people do come to me a small piece of myself reminds me of her and how she fucked me over and I get this nasty taste in my mouth.

I'm pretty sure it isn't that she doesn't have problems with it, but that she is totally broke and her life is a bit of a trainwreck. As long as she has posted on this board, she's posted about being entirely broke every other week or so.

To me, she seems like someone who just doesn't manage to get her life in order. Of course, it's still a pretty fucked up thing to do to fuck you over like that. I hope you manage to get the money back.

She probably panicked, doesn't know what to do, and "fled" the situation. I have quite a bit of experience with people and situations like this (unfortunately), and that's what happens most of the time.

I'm not trying to excuse what she did, of course.

This time it really was shame on me. Typically I research, ask around, and so forth. She just caught me outside of GFY, in a really good mood and just that day someone had returned a favor out of the blue making me have that warm fuzzy feeling for people in general. I typically stay out of drama threads and so forth so I really had not seen any flak. I just recognized the name and figured ok it is someone with a presence so it should not be that much of a risk. Well that will teach me.
