Good movie. Very sad though at the end for different reasons.

I would say, it's one of the best film I've ever seen..

If you haven't, you should watch Mystic River and American Beauty as well..

although I normally like Clint Eastwood movies, I found "Million Dollar Baby" too typical of a story line and wayyy to contrived....... her family was way way way over the top and not believable at all. At the end, all I felt was forced into feeling bummed out.

Which is the very reason I won't watch it, in spite of its marvelous reviews.

Million Dollar Baby is just too much the typical Holywood movie, too much bs for me.

Try watching this one and compare the two.

Using Netflix I have had that damn movie sitting on top of my bookshelf for a loooong time - I want to see it, but just dont feel like it for some reason. I want to send it back, but I also want to see it... hmmmm... why?

PS. I did NOT read the responses in this thread yet.
