Server Admins, who wants to make some quick $$$
Just bought a new server yesterday, with Redhat 9 and cPanel. Unfortunately I'm not really an expert when it comes to server issues, I'm hardly able to run my other Ensim boxes myself.

So instead of struggling through tutorials I thought it could be cheaper for me if someone from GFY could guide me through the first basic steps to setup the server and a domain of mine. I'd like to do this through ICQ, as I'd like to learn how it's done too, so if someone has and hour of spare time please contact me at ICQ 344688791, and let me know your price

Been messing around with CoLinux with Debian installed. The apt-get feature of Debian is awesome for getting things up fast.

Do youself a favour: Get a clean Debian box and a good admin (person, no clicky-script), or better learn it over time after you've had someone set it up properly.

First of all - download putty or any other ssh access tool that you like.

Yes I did the "Do it yourself" rout years ago with Ensim, unfortunately I don't have so much time anymore, but still want to learn/understand the basic things, that's why I'm looking for someone who can go through it with me.
I think without cPanel it would be even more difficult
