I work through pretty much everything; pneumonia, flu, fever, headache, hurt back, bird-flu, whatever. I don't do doctors so I've walked around before with pain in my stomach / lungs that felt like a knife was stuck there, both of which lasted a week.

But, even though I can deal with all that shit when I get sick to my stomach (bad food, too many cokes, too many hours working) it puts me out of commission. I just turn on the air conditioner and lay with my face over it until it goes away even if it's freezing cold. I don't even know how to explain it, doesn't hurt bad in comparison to other stuff but it's one of those grinding pains and it fucks me up every time.

your basic hard liquor hangover puts me down more than anything. i can even work through dentist pain, flu, aches, but that damn cigarette adn liquor hangover is the pits.

I never really get hangovers but you know that feeling you get right before your buzz kicks in from the vodka straight you're downing. You know the one where your stomach is on fire, that's how this shit feels.

The only thing that really lays me flat...are when allergy season affects my eyes.....and I can't look at my computer screen....without getting all dizzy and nauseous. That only happens for a few days in the Spring....

If I lay flat, most likely I'm in hospital.....because that's what it would take to get me to give in to most ailments....

i totally share this feeling with you...what sucks is when my hyperacidity strikes over stress..geez...it realy hurts!!!when ur tummy hurts there goes a head splitting headache...to match the already shitty situation...
