Freaky shit, hopefully not a ghost.

Damn, I hope that we don't have a new ghostly visitor in our house. Last night at about 3am while we were sleeping, our dog started growling and woke us up. When we went downstairs, he was just sitting there, we didn't think much of it and went back to bed. Well, a short time later, my wife heard a bucked bounce down the stairs that lead to the basement. Well, the bucket was up on the shelf, there's no way that it could've just jumped off the shelf nor could the dog have knocked it down because there's a door before you get to the stairs.

I know that it's not much, but I believe in ghosts and I'd hate to have one around our house

Perhaps it was just Boneprone trying to sneak into my fridge for a late night snack, ha ha ha.

Too much fun! We have some too! lol Want to get rid of it . all you have to do is go down there tonight and in a firm voice order it to leave that it no lobger lives there... that the house is nor YOUR home etc. Things along those lines. They normally will go after once or twice of being told.

We have what we think is a nanny in our house that just refuses to go. He has ordered her out and she leaves but a week later is right back. Dresses in long grey winter coat and hat or grey dress when we have seen her.

Got rid of the other two thank God. They were a pain to have around.

Damn Gemini, that's some really freaky stuff there with that nanny. I think that I'd shit my pants if I ever actually seen the thing. I'll have to see how tonight goes, if shit happens again, I'll be sure to use your advice. Hopefully you can get rid of your nanny one of these days.

I know that my sister-in-law seems to have bad luck for ghosts, I think that there's something about her that attracts them. She used to live in an apartment and shit would fall out of her cupboards like boxes of cereal and stuff. Then she'd lock her doors and go to work. When she'd come back, she'd sometimes find dirty dishes in her sink.

Now she moved to a new place and even stranger shit has happend to her, it's kinda died down lately, but she'd hear footsteps in her kitchen late at night, then she had this backdoor that would always open up, she'd lock it, at night and when they woke up, it'd be opened. I know that I wouldn't be living there, he he he.

Yeah, you're right, perhaps it could've been something explainable like that. I guess that with the dog growling before that, got us in the freaked out mode. I guess that time will tell for sure if it was nothing or something else. Rumor has it that someone died in this house many years ago, but it's just a rumor and we've been living here for about 8 months now and have never seen anything strange in those first few months.

Man, this is going to sound weird as hell but it's true. I am quite the skeptic. If I can't see something, it doesn't exist in my opinion (well, except for farts and sliding glass patio doors). It happened. If I weren't there myself, I would have never believed it.

Anyway, a little over a year ago, I was living in a nice 2 story house in a quiet residential area. One night, I had just gotten back from class and was talking with my girlfriend who lived there with me. She was sitting in the living room. One of her cats (L.B. - short for Little Bastard) was following me around as he always did when I got home, hoping I would play with him. He loved to play on the stairs so I though I would play with him for a little bit before I crashed. We played about 2 minutes when L.B. completely froze at the bottom of the stairs and seemed to be staring at me. I came down the stairs towards him thinking he was just playing, but he moved to the side and continued to stare towards the top of the stairs. He continued to stare right past me with that scared, defensive cat stare until he seemed to be looking right past my head. He was a very mild mannered cat and never growled or hissed, but as he was looking past me, he let out a loud growl and hissed a couple of times. Since I had never heard him do that, I backed away from him. As I backed up, I bumped into someone. Knowing that my girlfriend was in the living room, I jumped forward and spun around to see who it was and there was no one there. I about fainted. There was someone behind me that I could not see. I felt them as I backed up. It was as real as backing into someone while standing in line somplace. I was freaked so I walked forward into the living room as fast as I could to tell my girlfriend what happened. She thought I was full of shit until she heard L.B. hiss again. She was about to cry when I explained what had happened. Over the next year, there were a few more incidents that really scared the hell out of me. I won't bore you with the details unless you actually care.

Here's and idea, next time you think you see something make sure you have a laser pointer, ghosts reflect light. Besides cats love to chase the little red dot. Also keep your cam ready. You could win big at AFV.

armed, those things exist
it?s kinda vampire but doesn?t suck blood or anything, just making noise
some might jump you over so you can?t move for a couple of minutes
this couldn?t kill you but enough for many to shit the pants or worse
they?re invisible to us but animals detect them
sharp things kill them, needles are deadly for them
fire helps too
put lotta needles all over the house and have one or two in your pocket

i?m not kidding

I don't know if I was asleep or awake but one morning I thought I had awoke. Looked towards the window and saw an old lady tapping the glass real hard. Her shadow movements behind the kurtin looked like the effects on 13 ghosts. I had this incident way before the movie by the way. She was moving very fast and tapping louder. At this point I was scared shitless and my hairs starting standing up. I closed my eyes and shook my head then opened my eyes, Then nothing. She was gone and I was fully awake. Fucken tripped out.

Slick we gave up getting rid of the nanny if thats what she actually was. We know there were nanies in this house in the early 1900's and her dress, coat and severe hairstyle just makes you think thats wehat she was.

She doesn't really bother us alot. The cat plays with her, the dawg growls and the old man has more than once pulled a gun. lol All she does is walk around upstairs (wood floors and hard heels) and passes from the kitchen (back door) thru the dining room into the living room. Thats when she has the coat and hat on.

So as long as she stays out of our way, then its ok I guess. The one that used to be in the basement was the one that I was afraid of. lol Scared the bejesus out of me more than once down there.

My girlfriend and I love watching that show "World's Scariest Places". It is a freaky show where family's have to spend an entire night in a known haunted house or castle. Very spooky show!

We love this kind of shit!

DH

P.S. As per personal hauntings I have to say I have never perseen had one but I have had the feeling that passed on family members keep their eyes on me.

lol on the nude ghosts site. This one has the dress clear to the neck and almost to the floor. She may never have even seen herself nude in life.

We have thought about trying to take a pic but the actual appearances are so infrequent that one of the cameras is never within reach. We're talking a 4 second or so vision as she moves thru the rooms and poof. She fades at the steps. Maybe a 15 foot walk is all you see.

We have tried to see her upstairs but nothing. Just the heel noises. Kind of creepy when you are up there and she walks past. It seems to come and go too. Must be some events - dates from the past that brings her back.

Gotta carpet that second floor with lotsa padding eh!

I used to live in a house down by the intracoastal, which is the body of water that divides the rich palm beach island from regular west palm beach. Anyway, the houses right on the intracoastal there used to be servents quarters in the early 1900's. When we moved into this house, my buddies step dad was the landlord and he said that over 20 families had lived there (just because its cheap). We started to notice the weird sounds and all but never paid attention to it, till one day I was brushing my teeth at about 5:30 in the morning and i bent down to spit in the sink, then when i came up i saw a refelection of a man standing behind me in the mirror. I fuckin freaked and turned around so fast, and he wasn't there. This continued to happen, we had a mirror on the hallway and sometimes when you would walk past it, you could see his reflection next to yours. We never saw him in real life, but it turns out, the fuckin house had been on Unsolved Mysteries or one of those shows because of its paranormal activity. Other shit happend too, but we just became used to it, except he liked to turn lights off, when you weren't in a room, it was like having my dad follow me around the house turning lights off behind me.
