Inground Pool Owners....
How much did your pool cost (including everything/installation, etc)?
I'm trying to get an idea.

Mandy, if you're thinking about getting one in ATL, talk to a RE agent first. Most of the time an inground pool will actually LOWER the value of your home when you go to sell. If it doesn't lower it, it's rare if not impossible to recoup the money you spent on a pool when you resell. If you don't mind the money situation, and just want a pool in your backyard, please ignore all previous comments ;)

Why would a pool lower the value of your home?

the best time to have apool built is right before the last warm days. the companies wont be doing much work, and will cut you a break on the price, as it will help them through the slower winter months. if you do it in spring or summer, you will pay, because the crews that build are being spread thinner by more pools being built.

33 CDN, thats a free form salt water pool, out building (bar) 6 feet on interlock all the way around dive board and heat pump.
Just make sure you get a company that has been around a long time. Nice to know they will still be in bizz to hounor the warranty if required.

its a liability if someone drowns, a lot of parents dont want their kids wandering into the pool in the backyard, costs money to upkeep, etc, etc. |

Pools are the only way to live, get a gate if your worried about safety. My house had a pool when I bought it, but neighbor got one with a waterfall and hot tub for 30k

Depends on Size and location..
Our setup costed something around 30K with the attached Jaccizzi and Water heater... You need to Plan for Fencing if your yeard is not fenced yet (in and around 5K) Plus a place to put filtration system. you don't want to leave it outside... |
