The Ultimate Godzilla Movie Ever!!!

"Godzilla Final Wars"

I don't know if anyone has seen this but I snagged it up today just to watch a DVD.

This is the ultimate Godzilla movie. It has EVERYTHING in it. Sure it won't win any cinematic awards but the fun factor is so high you can't deny it.

The only way to describe this movie is to do the 'meets' thingie:


Godzilla meets the Matrix meets Shaolin Soccer meets Enter the Dragon meets G.I. Joe meets Transformers meets Starblazers meets Independence Day meets WWF Smack Down meets X Men meets Star Trek meets Hip Hop meets Death Metal and on and fucking on and on and add ON CRACK to that!

It just didn't fucking stop! They threw every thing AND the kitchen sink at us. Every city gets FUCKED up by the monsters. Basically, mutants with special powers now defend the Earth and aliens want to take over. The aliens release every fucking giant monster and then the kung fu mutant-matrix motorcycle fighting starts. Totally hilarious shit but the movie is filled with lots of favorite actors and actresses from Japan. It's just so outrageous and actually has some really, really funny and kick ass lines! I was so surprised!

They even have a scene where Godzilla beats up the CG Godzilla from that American movie made a few years ago. That shit was fucking funny!

This, for my money is the ultimate popcorn rock em' sock em' monster movie. I wish they had added King Kong to the fight scenes.

If you're a Zilla fan this is a must have.

I can't begin to list all the cool shit. Sure some of it is cheesy and worthy of Mystery Science Theatre 3000, but it makes up for that shit big time!

Every fucking monster shows up. There's a triple tag team battle between Zilla, Rodan, Angilus and some giant temple dog that is way the fuck out. Angilus the armadillo thing balls up and goes for Zill and Zill kicks him like a soccer ball into a mountain.

They fuck up Sydney in Australia and Paris to boot. I mean I ain't never seen a movie with this much shit destroyed.

Zill goes into moves I've never seen before. At one point he jumps on top of a monster and sits on his chest and gives him a beat down like he stole Zill's lunch money.

Fuckin' crazy fun movie and LOTS of laughs.

At one point after all the Earth battle space ships are destroyed one ship survives and an American actor plays the captain. He's too cool! He revives Godzilla to kick some ass and the alien punk kid says something smart ass to him and the captain says:

" There's two things about Earth you should be worried about. One is me, the other is Godzilla."

And then Zill goes after Gigan who has two arms that are double chainsaws! The shit is crazy fun!

What? Godzilla is like a religion nowadays. This latest movie from 2004 is just the beginning of the new Godzilla Final Wars.

I swear, one of the funniest things I've seen...NO, I won't give that away you have to see this shit to believe it. It's too fucking funny.

DUDE! This is 'Destroy All Monsters' on CRACK!!!!

It's the only Zilla movie I've seen with beheadings and blood and cussing! The ONLY thing this movie doesn't have is tits. If it had tits I wouldn't be posting on this board. I would be running through the streets screaming!

It's got elements of the animated film AKIRA in it too. There's a fist fight between two dudes on motorcycles that is so outrageous I couldn't believe it.

There's samurai fighting, kung fu, every thing.

I must say also that Godzooki the son of Zilla is in the movie too. I know it sounds corny but there is a scene with him that is soooooo fucking funny I howled laughing.

Y'know the new Kong was awesome but it doesn't do it for me as I expected. I think it's because with CG creatures they just don't have the foundation as stop-mo or guys in suits like the Zilla movies. I did however like the acting Andy Serkes did of Kong. That T-Rex fight was freakin' awesome.

what was that Godzilla movie with Godzooki in it, where the little Japanese boy would be daydreaming about Godzilla and Godzooki battling monsters, and it helped him overcome his fear of being bullied, and he stood up to and beat up the bully at the end? i liked that one.

I missed some Godzilla movies and I have to find them on DVD. I always liked Ghidra. When I was a kid they showed it on the 4:30 movie. My dad was sleep on the couch after a few martinis and he woke up thinking it was the news. He jumped up off the couch and we all laughed. Back then we were still all nervous about Japan.

Godzilla comes from the Japanese word for gorilla: Gojira. Originally the Godzilla first movie he was supposed to be a Kong like gorilla and the name stuck and got mispronounced.

I don't know where they can go after this latest movie. They fucked up every city on Earth. There's a scene when Rodan attacks New York City. A homeboy and his homie are pulled over by the cops and his ride is all pimped out and as they argue Rodan shows up and you will not believe what happens next. It was quite intense! The acting was pretty good and suspenseful, almost like another movie.

Mothra shows up as a hero in the movie too. He does a move on the main monster that is fucking priceless!

Oh, and yes there are some hotties in the flick I thought were gonna do a Sharon Stone/Basic Instinct I thing with the legs.

That is the best one of them all - I'm a huge Godzilla fan!! I have every single DVD and a collection of toys and figures thats going to be worth some serious $$ when my son is older. Been collecting the stuff for the last 6 years. I'll post some pics tonight hehe

Oh keep your collectible Godzilla stuff! Some of the toys from Japan from the 60's and 70's are worth lotsa bucks! Most never appeared on store shelves in the U.S. but American servicemen stationed in Japan during those years bought some and sent some home.

I gotta tell ya, Godzilla Final Wars is my second favorite. I was going to put it as best, but it didn't have Kong. King Kong vs Godzilla was a throw down like a mo' fo'!
