Anybody interested in being a partner in launching a new Age Verification System

Hi all,

This is the first time I've posted on this board although I've been in the industry for some time and do check this board once and awhile.

I'm looking for partners who would be interested in helping to finance and run a brand new AVS much like adultcheck, freenetpass and so on.

Currently, their are two companies in the partnership but we'd like to expand it for the purposes of increasing finance and promotions of the AVS.

The AVS idea is something completely new to us already involved in the venture and any additional expertise that more partners can bring in would be welcome. We think that their may be a great potential for another AVS to compete with the few existing ones.

If you're at all interested, please contact me at [email protected] and we can discuss details.

The very basic and very rudimentary AVS is here: AdultsAllowed.com

that's because you can download free AVS-system scripts everywhere

Baddog,

Running an AVS is something non of us have done before so we're not 100% sure that their is money to be made in it (yes, their is money to be made if your Adultcheck and are well established or if you are a terrific marketeer). That's why I said 'may' because we are willing to give it a try anyway.

As for stating 'few existing ones' we've searched the web high and low and their only only a handful of established AVS's. Of these handful are only a few that offer what surfers are looking for. The general AVS member will tell you that their membership is a ripoff. Although it gives them access to 10,000 sites, each of those sites contain 10 photos or less, redirect you to a premium site (or other sponsors), contain pop-ups or are not even online anymore. Being competitive in a market like this shouldn't be as difficult as one where competitors were offering quality to members.

Thanks for your questions, they're good ones =)

We've never tried any free AVS script. We're using our own scripts.

Pipecrew, while I know what you're saying and I agree somewhat. The same can be said for TGP's but still, their are successful TGP's and unsuccessful ones. The majority are unsuccessful just as are most AVS's.

Hm! I'm personally convinced that there is room for a few more succesful AVS's however you have to be real smart to get in.

75 - 85 % of the avs webmasters are linkwhores (ie they don't promote their sites at all, they simply suck the traffic from the linklists). To be succesful you'll have to attract the 15-25 % of the AVS webmasters that actually can send you traffic (and sales).

Now here are some facts you have to compete with, if you can make it better than that, and still profit, I'm in.

Premium sites:

Cybersexnetwork: pays you 100 % on the sign up (30 dollars and 20 dollars on the rebill), as far as I can see with my small sample they tend to keep 55-60 % rebilling.

Adult Check Gold: depite what you call low quality content, ACG keeps the member rebilling for 5-6 months on average, which make a sign up worth 60-70 bucks.

Now let's face it; the guys with serious quality traffic are generally smart, and know how to profit the most, so they would send their traffic to one of those or maybe adultverifier, cyberage platinum or ageoath. You'll have to beat them to attract webmasters, and you'll need a bunch of money to convince them even if you actually come out with something better than that.

For ordinary avs sign ups, well same scheme: cyberage preferred pays you 15.00 for a sign up + 2 dollars referring + 3 dollars on average middlepage bonus + recurring if the member stays as a platinum customer. If we set a realistic 7 dollars on that, they're paying 27 dollars for a 20.00 sign up. hard to beat.

For free AVS's: sexkey and freenetpass are well established and hard to compete with. 15 bucks for a free sign up + especially sexkey can send a boatload of traffic for upsells, making the pay per sign up even higher. You'll need some cash to cover the initial losses to make it better than they do now!

So if you open a new AVS, you'd better be damn creative and have some cash for initial losses and advertising, otherwise you're at best wasting you're time at worst throwing money away.
But if you have thought all the facts through and still think you can do it, send me a mail, and I'm interested

Lars,

Thanks for your well informed reply. I will be contacting you soon. I should have made it clear at the beginning that we're looking for partners that already run sites that generate lots of traffic as this will cut down on advertising/promotional expenses because much of it can come from our own traffic. In addition, paid promotions will be needed which is why we're looking for partners to help finance the AVS.

You came up with some very interesting details regarding the other AVS's which I'm going to review. It almost seems like you may have been thinking of starting your own AVS seeing that you know the programs of so many others =)

Jack, no I've never considered opening an avs for the one reason that I simply don't see how you can compete with the above mentioned. Even if you made a completely clean AVS with no upsells at all, I'm afraid it won't retain much better than ACG does right now, and worse: the cleaner the AVS the harder it is to attract webmasters

Maybe a strict niche avs could survive and be profitable, but I doubt it

I was just kiddin' when I said I was in, I simply mentioned the cool facts so that you did not waste your time or your money on a project in probably the most competetive market right now.

Personally I see the paysite way as much more lucrative and not as competetive as long as you have some exclusive well selling stuff to throw in there.

But I've been avs'sing for some time, and if you need some help with your project you're welcome to send a mail

Good luck
Lars,

Jack, if you want some input try going to one of the AVS boards like mine:
http://www.avslounge.com/cgi-bin/ubb621/ultimatebb.cgi
or these 2:

http://www.avsfriendly.com/
http://www.askmrporn.com/wmh/wwwboar...ltiboard1.html

And just ask the AVS webmasters if we think it's a good idea to start a new AVS.

For someone starting an AVS it doesn't seem like you know alot about them if anything from Lars post "interesting" (not to knock Lars well informed post).

Here's what you need to start an AVS.

Payouts that match the big dogs
an exisitng level of Respect and trust in the industry
A group of "whale" webmasters you have committed to selling your Passes from day #1. The whales put out 200 to 1000 sales a day.

just my

I use AdultBouncer and am making a killing off of it.

They host your site and movies of any size are OK. It's $11 recurring. You can choose the processors.

adultbouncer is the very best period.
They host your content, you can upload movies and such and don't pay the bandwidth + they work on a recurring payment plan.

Why settle for a 1 time payment of 15 bucks at some AVS when you can get 11 bucks month after month, plus pay nothing for bandwidth?

I've been talking with 3-4 people using adultbouncer and they say it blows any AVS out of the water. They also have 2500GB of movies to use.
Pretty sweet - I'm going to signup with them myself.

Good luck with your AVS.. I think that if it's well put together there is certainly enough space left in the market for another one.

My first recommendation would be to get rid of all of your business partners. Might seem like a great idea to have more minds and more cash but that will likely ruin your site in the end.
