Pheonix forum + CCBILL = Scrub Harder? WTF???

I don't know about you guys but it seems really fucking odd and off to me that CCBILL would scrub extra hard during their own fucking webmaster conference!

My CCBILL ratios have went to complete shit. It has been about 4 or 5 days now since I've had decent sales like I had been getting. Same traffic, better promotions and I even through in some extra traffic. Go figure!

I know some of you are experiencing the same fucking thing. I make TONS of sales on EPOCH accounts and almost nothing with CCBILL sponsors...

I would think this would be something you might do when there isn't a forum in your own backyard. I would think you would relax the scrub so everyone is blowing sunshine up your ass at the show.

Strange.

Everyone is in Az. They prolly just set it to "auto scrub all" before they left. lol

edit: They are kinda weird lately. I have 6 checks sitting on my desk made out to girls who havent worked in this studio in 3 months. We've tried address change with them to no avail.

I must admit I had about 4 kickass days just before the bubble burst... Perhaps tomorrow things will be back to normal?

Maybe it will take their last party and they will have a grand fanali where they throw the switch and ratios return to normal...

sales were terrible yesterday...If it wasn't for a good rebill day, the whole day would have been shot....Not looking great today either but it beats yesterday.

And I just set my preferences in the admin to only get emails when I get a sale. I turned everything else off so I don't even know if I got a lot of denials yesterday or today.

It wouldn't surprise me if CCBill randomly scrubbed certain accounts at certain times. My sales rocked all week, but before that, I had a good month where sales were almost non-existant. Made no sense, since my traffic was exactly the same.

Maybe they think if they don't scrub all accounts at once, people won't notice. I dunno'.

Well guys, I've got you all beat. I've made a grand total of one sale and two rebills since CCBill did their upgrade a few weeks ago. Yeah, that fucking sucks! And like someone else said...I've sent more hits, better promotions, etc....and everything has still went to shit.

Worst part is if you call them they will say nothing is wrong, must be you we have not had any other complaints. They think we are a bunch of morons. If the title of this thread was "thanks for the great hat ccbill" they would have posted on it 5 times by now.

someone always is complaining about ccbill scrubbing hard everyday no matter what time of the year so i guess ccbill is scrubbing hard 24/7/365? well, for me i don't really see any diff scrub % on either ccbill/epoch. Also, I'd think you'd have to do 100s of sales per day to actually know if ANY processor is scrubbing harder or less. 4-5 sales/day tells you nothing about scrub %. That being said maybe it's just nice weather outside that's to blame

Now I am thinking why you keep making sales with epoch in the days when ccbill performs not good for you, maybe its because of the "free" memberships and prechecked crossales that used by most epoch sponsors? When this type of billing will go away, do you think you will get the same results?? If you get ratios like 1:1000+ now with 1 dollar trial , what ratios will you get with full membership?

and if they lose their merchant account what creek would we be up?

There are only 2 large trustworthy aggregators left and I doubt there will ever be another. We use them and we also use our own account, sales come and go in waves; I used to worry now I just think it's sunspots.

When you go from 12-17 sales a day to 3, its quite obvious..

CCBill ratios have been SHIT lately. Flucuating like crazy.

Its not ccbill ( Nor Epoch, Nor Verotel), its just a slow shitty ass 2-3 days. We have both Epoch and CCbill and we are seeing the same shitty ass 2-3 days with both.

Just a slow period thats all, use it as an excuse to put in extra hours.

No, it's not. if you go from 100 sales a day to 3 yes it would be otherwise 12-17 more or less sales are like drops in the bucket. When you have the slow sales days just look at the declined sales.. how many were declined that day? I'd bet it won't be any more than usual atleast not that I have ever seen. if u go 12-17 sales a day to 3 it's simply your bad luck your surfers ain't buying.. so maybe start accepting it. I started accepting that about 9 years ago.

man, are you just trying hard at being stupid or what? if someone disagrees with you, they aren't 'working hard' at the trade? as i said before, your poo-pooing someone who drops from 12-17 sales per day to 3 was as Kramer would say--------- waaaaaaaaaaaay off.

any good DILIGENT webmaster knows when his ratios are off. i've had webmasters complain to me after getting listed on thehun unfortunately on a day they are being scrubbed hard......bad luck and bad timing and they end up with one or two measly sign ups on hun traffic.....other days they'd do 4-5X that when they aren't being scrubbed so hard.

we know what the fuck we're talking about, not sitting in fucking hammocks all day, my friend.

man! you need to start accepting the reality 12-17 sales are no big deals to many webmasters i personally know on this board neither is 12-17 to 3. If a webmaster is DILIGENT enough he will know ratios CAN and WILL differ every once and again that's the nature of our biz. it's NO surprise.

No, it could NEVER be my gallery that didn't do well it's either thehun traffic itself that sucked or ccbill scrubbed my ass. same old story over and over.. I had bought spots on hun for years in the past and still do every now and again never had i ever blamed the processor for a bad sales day, nor thehun traffic. I believe and I KNOW it's me who'd be to blame for bad sales not my processor, not thehun, not my mom who passed away, not my dad with a heart condition or my pregnant wife it's me myself to be blamed and i guess that makes me do better than average Joe and that makes me worry less about coming up with BS about why my gallery didn't convert. Damn! Now, I'm gonna have a bad sales day tomorrow for sure for wasting too much time in this thread.. maybe will too have to come up with a "CCBill scrubbing my ass again thread" tomorrow

Look, my ccbill sales have dropped to pretty much nothing. If it wasn't for Non Ccbill sites, I'd be fucked royally. Ccbill is doing something. Since their upgrade, I have dropped down by $300+ a week. Hard for me to beleive that this is by my Promoting habits and shit.

Something is fucked majorly.

well, when netbilling checking and 2000charge in 2nd and 3rd position do more sales than ccbill in first position something is wrong.

and i've been on ccbill since 1998.

methinks something is wrong.

I'm not one to always jump on the "CCBill is scrubbing crazy" wagon that people post just everyday. But It IS the true today. I've talked to a lot of webmasters with sites that use CCBill, and its horrible across the board. I've been getting denials out the ass though.
