The summer slowdown is a myth. I think there is a slight spring slowdown. But people get over the nice weather pretty quickly and then its back to surfing porn

If my sites slow down anymore...I'll have to close them. I made a grand total of less than $500 in March, and some (most) of that was rebills.

The fact is, the summer slowdown is more our own fault than anyone else's. Yes there may be a -SLIGHT- and hardly noticeable slowdown. However the main reason I believe a webmaster would see any slower sales in the summer months is due to the fact that they themselves are outside enjoying the weather and not working as hard.

Is the summer slowdown a traffic quality related problem or is it due to the fact that you just get less traffic than in the winter months???
If it is the last thing you can use the summer months to get more and better traffic to your sites... Or am I wrong??? |

No it's not. I was doing just fine last summer until the 2nd week of July then for 5 straight weeks I didn't make shit. The magically in the 3rd week of August my ratios and sales returned. Hmmmmmmmm. So It was summer I had a slowdown, but it wasn't summer slowdown? |

What is so hard to understand about the following pretty basic logic...
When it is nice outside and stays lighter later more people are out enjoying themselves doing outdoor activities. If they are outside more they are away from their computer and cannot surf porn nor buy it. And dont tell me they'll just find another time to watch it. There is only a certain amount of hours in a day. People do have other responsibilities including families and employment. More time outside = less time indoors in front of the computer. Why do you think the television networks roll out the reruns during June, July and August? Just for the hell of it? Or have they figured out that there are less people watching TV during those months and they cant charge as much for advertising. |

Every business (except summer related businesses) experience lower sales in the nice weather months.
In my old retail job, I'd do as many sales in one week of October as I would for the entire month of July. For about 10 years in a row. It's also called the travel season for a reason, people are out, on vacation, poolside, on the beach, camping, hiking etc etc. Just expect it to get slower as the weather gets nicer where your customers live and vice versa.

its like that in most businesses expect drugs, supermarkets, ... car dealers for example sell way less cars in the winter months than in the spring months. Makes sense, right? if this is also the case with porn i have mixed results |
