Live on C-Span right now. I can't even believe how much time and money is being spent trying to pass this CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT to ban gay marriage, this CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT for fucks sake.

All of the fucking arguments FOR it are straight from the BIBLE and I cannot believe that they are being used as justification for passing a constitutional amendment.

... what a crock of shit. First of all, banning something just makes people want to do it more. Second of all, what people are DOING, how they ARE living their lives, is what's going to "define" marriage in this country. Passing a law "defining marriage as between a man and a women" will simply help a few old crusty biggots sleep better at night, and make the daily lives of millions of gay Americans significantly more problematic, significantly more stressful.

Well, if it does go through, at least Jesus will be happy. Since he was so big on judging and condeming and all. Oh wait, he wasn't? Something about ... He amongst you who is without sin ... ?? Weird.
