All of the fucking arguments FOR it are straight from the BIBLE and I cannot believe that they are being used as justification for passing a constitutional amendment.

... what a crock of shit. First of all, banning something just makes people want to do it more. Second of all, what people are DOING, how they ARE living their lives, is what's going to "define" marriage in this country. Passing a law "defining marriage as between a man and a women" will simply help a few old crusty biggots sleep better at night, and make the daily lives of millions of gay Americans significantly more problematic, significantly more stressful.
