:tongue Anyone go to ITT TECH?

Im thinking of going there next year. In not sure what course to pick so help me out.

http://www.itt-tech.edu/programs/

I want to pick something thats going to help me online. Like coding, this helps me a lot. I waste like lots of $ to get people to code for me.

DON'T DO IT!! Total rip-off. They screwed me big time. Now because of them i'm out $8,000. My advice to you is go to a community college or university and get the education that will actually help you in real life.

The education you get from ITT is extremely watered-down compared to community colleges and universitys. But please don't take my word for it, read for yourself at The Rip-off Report

Isn't Devry the same thing? Why not try University of Phoenix? edit, just to make sure that this is read as a sarcastic comment.

I started going to ITT mid last year for programming. As my second semester was coming to a close they informed me that I "somehow signed up for the wrong program" and was now being forced into a program I didn't want to be in (they even mentioned that the CAD program would be better for me...-I'm a fawking programmer!-). They said there was nothing they could do about it and blah blah blah and mentioned I could wait a year and a half for the program I SIGNED UP FOR to start again. Well, they broke a serious federal law and I reported it to the BBB and local police. I have a pending lawsuit with ITT that i'm not allowed to talk about yet so this is as much as I can say about it.

Eh...like ITT, education is watered-down. Find a local community college or University man, much more worth your time and money.

i graduated from itt with an AA in multimedia information technology...
i have to say that once the weaklings get weeded out.. by the first year. its a pretty kick back learn shit for yourself type of atmosphere...
one thing i fucking hated is that they use generic text books and don't give you a real 60$ text book for your classes... for 35k 2 years you should at least get some good text to read

Funny how you could have went to a community college and got the same exact degree for a fraction of what you paid for it. And not to mention you would have learned much much more.

Also itt-tech sounds boring as hell too. Atleast in a university you can some down time for parties and what not.

I hope you are joking. Check out major universities or colleges near you and take a course there.

Just an FYI, going to school for programming is a waste of time unless you are a complete idiot. Do yourself a favor, goto your nearest book store, spend $200 on a few select books and you will further your knowledge faster. They don't teach you anything except the basic flow of a language. Been there done that.

Definately go to a community college or university. I went to a local tech school here in texas (MTI), its the same thing as ITT, but cheaper. I wasnt able to find anything promising after I graduated.

Once I finished MTI, I started going to University of Phoenix. That place is joke. It's basically made for someone that already has a career and needs to further their degree if they dont have the time to go to a CC or University. All you do with them is write paper after paper and dont learn anything about the actual course.

Well, I finally learned my lesson and ended up going to a community college. I'm in debt 10's of thousands for my trial and errors.

I wouldn't waste my time, go to a community college instead, and then transfer to a 4 year school... it will end up being cheaper and you will actually get a degree worth something...

The only thing ITT has going for them is good marketing. And even that sucks!

Go to a real school, employers are not impressed by these technical schools that let in anyone that can pay. They know that they have no standards and no admissions policies.

No way. You pay a grip for ITT and Devry and don't get very much. I've known a few people that have gone to both places and definately not worth. Go to a community college for ~30 bucks a unit and get an A.S. if you want to learn some stuff and get a degree.

If you wanna learn coding just buy books about it or get them from the library and save a lot of money.

I don't think he is talking about just "learning coding." I think he wants to find a tech job with the type of company that requires a degree.
