is it the solar eclipse that makes all shadows look like a 1/4 moon? i remember about a year ago or so it happened wierd shit. shadows were irregular and shit it was nuts. i remember looking at the shadow from my orange tree and the shadows from the oranges weren't complete circles but 1/4 circles.

Yeah, that shadow thing is cool as shit.
Like you, I remember sitting under a tree and realizing all the little spots of light leaking thru the spaces between the leaves were cresents. |

Doesn't look like we're even going to be seeing it over here in the States.
Brazil... through Africa... and into Ukraine. Peeps in Europe will at leats get the view of a Partial. http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclips...6/TSE2006.html Oh... and Solar Eclipses have absolutely nothing to do with earthquakes... in case anyone was wondering. Solar/Lunar Eclipses are a visual effect produced by the exact positioning of the Earth, Moon, and Sun at a particular time while Earthquakes are the result of tectonic movement beneath the Earth's surface.
