I believe this administrations agenda is money and power. I think after the first Gulf war Cheney saw a country that held the 2nd largest oil reserves in the world and saw them as easy prey. If that damage was done at only 60 or 70 mph, imagine what a 55' steel ribbed wing would do at several hundred mph.. Yet the photos that supposedly show it was a 757 just have a few bricks out of place and some scratches...

OK, I agree it was used as a convenient justification for invading Iraq. But I totally doubt it was planned by our own leaders. Maybe the military industrial complex had a hand in it somewhere. But I just can't see the white house being able to pull something on this grand a scale off logistically. They just aren't that capable even with the resources at their disposal.

Dick Cheney was the Secretary of Defense during the '91 Gulf War and it would have been just as easy to topple Saddam and the Bath party as it was this time around and because the people of Iraq were really disgusted by Saddam and the wars that he had put them through at that time they would have been more receptive than what they are at this time. As far as I know Dick Cheney signed off on the 100 hour land war and voluntarily agreed that we should not invade Iraq. If I am correct then it seems he missed the most opportune time to invade to steal their oil if that was his personal intention.

Lets assume that you are correct and Bush wants to be a "dictator", which I personally believe is not possible under our system of government, and lets assume that he achieves some type of "dictator" staus, what does he gain by being a "dictator" for eight years other than a name of infamy in the history books in our lineup of Presidents?

As for fear, I personally do not know anyone that is living in fear. Do you? Whatever fear that may exist I think probably is found because of the two official declarations of war against the United States made by a terroist organization and the multiple attacks they have carried out against US assets around the world for the past twenty years, including the mainland, and the continued threats of future attacks made by said terrorist organization and its allied terrorist organizations. Unless you believe that the US government is producing these tapes and documents asserting the threats and are providing them to Aljazeera for broadcast.

I was there that day. 2 blocks from the WTC and I saw with my own 2 eyes a commercial jet fly into the building at extremely high speed. I saw the second building fall, once again with my own two eyes. I can tell you there were no secondary explosions.

One more thing that I can tell you that I do remember.

I saw several police push people out of their way, so they could run AWAY from the scene. I also saw fireman going towards certain death.

So when they talk about how brave that the police were, it's a bunch of crap.

Here' a little tidbit of info that you probably don't know. There were more court officers killed that NYPD. The courthouse was close by and they went to help.

If your going to make outrageous claims of missiles hitting the Pentagon or controlled explosions taking down the WTC then you should at the very least have some substance to it.

Why would they need to blow up the buildings after they were hit by planes?

I saw several police push people out of their way, so they could run AWAY from the scene. I also saw fireman going towards certain death. So when they talk about how brave that the police were, it's a bunch of crap. Here' a little tidbit of info that you probably don't know. There were more court officers killed that NYPD. The courthouse was close by and they went to help. Yep, the big blue should change their name to the big yellow.
