What are you READING these days?

People DO still read, correct?

On my way to the couch right now to dust off the last few chapters of "The Fourth Protocol".

NICE

I admit, my tastes in books are plebian. I lean towards sci-fi and GOOD spy/war novels.

I read maybe 2 books a month, Im almost finished with "Emperor. The gates of Rome" by Conn Iggulden. It's a triology about Julius Caesar.

I've been reading "Founding Brothers" by Joseph Ellis

It's a series of historical stories that put the big names of the Revolutionary generation in a human perspective, without the pomp and glory usually associated with them.

It's funny, as I read it and see the squabbling going on between Bush and Congress over things like the wiretapping and ports you see that as much as things have changed, they really haven't changed since this country was in it's infancy.

It's a good read so far.
