phpBB Mass-hack being Prepared?
Article reads like engrish but read it anyway if ur running a phpbb forum:
During the last few days a bot using a name FuntKlakow, has been registering to at least hundreds (maybe thousands) of phpBB forums. Next time the phpBB announces a critical vulnerability, the bot would have everything ready from attacking thousands of sites/forums. i wonder if they have something that actuallypoints to it beingsomeone trying to do harm..
I have written bots like that for other reasons.. Infact i built a php version called namereserve so a person can register there nicks on thousands of forums so it doesnt get taken before they find the forum.
