NEWBIE NEEDS HELP WITH COMUS THUMB 2.01 (NOT a joke)

I am new to the board. My friend benoitlc666 told me to come here and ask for HELLLLLP!
I am adventuring in the TGP world. I have a site that I just created with the help of a designer. Now, I need to upload galleries, etc, and I am struggling with the Comus interface.
I live in Los Angeles. Is there anyone in town who could give me a hands-on training, I will compensate you for your time.

Also, should I be using Comus Thumbs to manage my site? Can I use a different software to upload galleries?

Thank you so much in advance for anyone's help and advice.

As mentioned above their support forums are fantastic. The Comus Manual is really good too.. just slowly go through it step by step until it makes sense to you.

I have it DL already but when I open it and request a number it tells me "Not available at this time" or ICQ crashes.

Run out of patience. Hate when us Mac users get discriminated...

Thanks anyway!!!

Im one of those people who would rather play with a script to work it out

but Comus is one you just have to get help with

"as a last resort read the instructions"

Switching to auto gallery is a good way to quit. There is no way to compare the power that they have.

I will be available tomorrow in the AM PST. hit me up then, and I can hep you out a bit more.

Read on, do a search on the support forum, you'll find you can run batch jobs with ease, it's called autothumb, or you can use turbo crop and thumb really fast, I did 1300 galleries in one day, I did the cropping, not the script, the script made it really easy! If I used autothumb, I could have done it faster, but I like to have more control than that!

We have it set up where if you post to the support forum for ComusThumbs, you'll actually get a better response. Then your post is seen by more people, more techs and you'll end up with better support!!

What do you mean by "switching to auto gallery is a good way to quit?"
Thanks...

Yeah you can get a database up to over 10k glleries with ease, plus we also have ready made galleries from a list of sponsors that you can upload to your database, already thumbed with one click, then just filter in your codes, it's all pretty easy!
