mysql question: how to grant remote access.. - GoFuckYourself.com

i tried a
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO '%'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'passwd';
with a flush

and ive tried it with setting a username and host address..

All access denied when i connect remote..

Is there some config file i have to change?

ports are open because mysql responds with a "access denied"..

You don't need to flush privileges if you use grant, flush you only need if you
use insert or update to edit permissions.
