Interesting, but "AI" at the level that we've been able to achieve is nowhere near reality and won't likely be in our lifetimes ... I wouldn't quite write off real live webcam chat just yet.

People still want to interact with a actual person, and the undeniable belief of many customers they may actually "score" in real life with the cam girl/guy can't be replaced by cyborgs.

Good luck with it, anyway, I certainly would like to see it in action.

what i'm curious about is what they'll do when the films get "stale". if a user likes a particular cam model he might go see her all the time. who's to say she'll come back and do 1000 more films for a flat rate? how would they make sure two independent users won't figure it out when they have the same girl doing different things simultaneously?

for those that don't get it... he downloaded the bot software at alicebot.org and set it up for key words to trigger different clips. not too sure why he thinks needing many Gig's of clips to create some terrible illusion of interactivity makes sense... or why he thinks users won't notice when he types "hi sweetums" or mispells something stupid and the bot can't recognize the word and replies with something like "of course i like planets, dont you"

From that article I don't see anyone "getting it", it's basically a reporter picking pieces from your press release. But seriously, I'm never one to put down a revolutionary or ground-breaking idea - that's what moves society forward. But your use of "Artificial Intelligence" is overkill. You are not there - nobody is.

Secondly, if you know a lot about live webcams you'll know that one of the primary motivators for customers is a perceived relationship with the model or performer - and for many, the belief that a real-life relationship may evolve. Your technology obviously will not allow for that level of interaction.

Lastly - and not to be too rude here - but if you have spent as much as it appears on your "A.I", you'd think you could afford $150 for a decent design on your homepage! Esp. when an XBix article links to it .. I mean, appearances do account for something and you seem to want to be taken seriously.
