SONY HDR-FX1 vs Sony HDR-HC1
SONY HDR-FX1 vs Sony HDR-HC1
I know many are using both of these cams, was wondering if there is much difference between the 2 besides the price tag. Also the Sony HDR-HC1 is much smaller and I would think would be easier to work with especially if shooting POV style.. Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated ![]() |

HDR-FX1 has 3 ccd's --- better color and better in low light---but it is too large for POV--- Trust me.

I'd try the HVR-V1U. Or the new Canon, Canon XH G1 or A1. The FX-1 was a first gen and had problems with it. Go with a newer model IMO. But POV with it is very possible!

If your looking for true HD (not HDV) as well as variable frame rate recording and 720p you have to look at the HVX200 from Panasonic.
