when i was little (i am 35 now) I looked exacly like Adam Rich on Eight is Enough. i had people asking me for autographs everywhere i went when i was 7-8-9 yrs old. it was a little weird.

The link given says it's a rotating stand down. Each squad can stand down any time during the week to do safety stuff.

All naval aviation squadrons will be required to complete the safety review by the end of next week, but no particular day is being designated.

If they nuked Sac the winds would blow towards Tahoe and into Reno, depending on how big the bomb was. So you would just die a more slow death than a fast one by going to Tahoe.

If they hit the Valley in LA most of Santa Monica would be fine because the winds would carry the crap inland more, once again depending on how big the bomb was.
