What do you guys use for video editing and compressing clips. ??
Nothing tooooo expensive. If you have a reseller code, post it.

As far as I know Cleaner used to be the software to buy but they have not really kept it updated. I could be wrong on that though because I have not checked recently. Sorensen is good as well. These programs pretty much use the same codecs for most things so what you are really buying is the ability to do batches. Check out Procoder.

premiere for editting and cleaner for encoding... HOWEVER, if you have specific needs for format (such as ipod format or whatever) then you need to check the product you use closely and make sure that it outputs and outputs well. Google reviews for each one from the various digital editing review sites.

If you're doing basic stuff.... use MovieMaker2 free from Microsoft.com
It works well and is actually not bad for a small program... I, personally, use Vegas6d |
