What are my options for a proxy detector right now to scan thru trades on a tgp... ?

I have around 800k that would go thro it daily so it would have to be stable with a lot of traffic.

I wouldn't use anything that is running on my own server then.

I use them are pretty satisfied with the results

hey due, how many percent of proxy hits should be considered as a cheater? I have some people sending me over %35 percent proxy hits, should i consider that they are hitboting?

One place to start is to log the "HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR" header in your apache logs. This will show you all the non-anonymous proxy hits coming to you, and where they are

pipp: also most people that run proxys are people who are at school or work, and they usually dont browse porn in that case. check the times and see if theres a big time difference like after 5pm or whatever. 35% does seem way too high though.

Usually in TM3 I see upto around 15% for all proxies (including AOL etc. etc) while on proxyguard anything higher than 5% then there is something wrong (it does not count AOL etc) but count open proxies both anom. and none anom. proxies. And show the % also for both

Again, its not a 'guy', its a company. We spent a long time putting together this solution and have a lot of customers (like Due, ABCsearch, Cyberheat, CrazyProtocol, etc) who would back us up on the quality of the product.

Again, 18K is for an enterprise client doing millions of hits a day--where we need to deploy a customized hardware solution, ie. we pay for a custom server....

No, we have a lot of traders and a lot of PPC guys (adult and non-adult) but no TGPs ....

As for traffic going up or down:
Your traffic gets cleaner and in the end that means that the bad trades will eventually be out and the quality and quantity of traffic should go up--in the Long run--

If you guys really think these proxy detectors protect you from hitbotters you got something coming.

The good hitbots, and the expensive ones dont send traffic from a proxy that can be detected.

There are ways to detect these, but a "proxy detector"
is nothing but a false sense of security.

Some of you are probably being considered to have a trade set up by such a botter. Exposing your ignorance is not a good thing.

Nor is depending on any proxy detector.

Only the Poor Soviets, and South Americans use the old school proxy detecting hit bots.

I can understand why a PPC guy would want to pay that price to protect himself, but a TGP with the same number of hits makes nowhere near what the PPC does

Maybe you need to have a different level of service for TGP's, otherwise I don't see you picking up a lot of them in the near future as clients

We disagree. This is not a childs script. We will catch/detect ALL CHEATERS using proxies going against PPC, traffic trading, etc.....Lets put this to a test. Prove what you are saying... send hits to us that we can't detect, we can set up a demo for FREE and will display the results on this thread. also, TM3 detects hitbots, and has tons of anti-prxy/hitbot features

can't go wrong with either script
