heres the shit i had to go thru to get a LTC in mass.

1. have a FID (licence for a rifle) for 10 years
2. Take Firearm training courses
3. Pass accuracy test with a .22 pistol to satisfy the state police
4. pass a state police back ground check
5. pass a FBI background check
6. get fingerprinted/photgraphed/ checked for tatto's and scars
7. shit out alot of money for all that

Now. i got all this shit and i STILL could have been denied by the chief of police to carry a pistol for any reason from I had an attitude to he didnt like the color of my house.

So now for the rest of my life, I have little police file with my "mugshots" fingerprints, scars, tattos, height. ect ect and if i decide to move to a new town, i have to notify the police of the town im moving to and the town im moving from.. and the fucking state police.. the exact same process a fucking registered sex offender goes thru.

and to top it off, EVERY time i buy a gun I get yet another background check.

It's NOT fucking easy to get a gun.

Now explain to me why i shouldn't be able to carry whatever gun i want? This "civilians shouldnt own assault rifles" shit is garbage. an assault rifle is a *fully automatic* rifle. They are illegal to even look at unless you have the licence for it.. which would take an act of fucking god to get, u have to REALLY be someone to get it, cops get denied.
I have a semi auto SKS thats classified as an assualt rifle, the ONLY thing that makes it different from a semi-auto hunting rifle is the way it looks. There are hunting rifles that have alot more power and fire just as fast... does a pistol grip and folding stock make it more deadly? i dont fucking think so.

and while im going off... Boston has a 10 round pistol capacity limit to carry in that city... what is the fucking point? You can switch pistol mags in approx 1-1.5 seconds.. if someones on a rampage.. what the fuck is that law going to do other then make the person carry more mags.. not to mention it'd only be licenced people following the fucking law... like some assface with a stolen gun and no ltc is going to think to himself "oh FUCK, i got a 16 round clip in this beretta, i better turn around before i hit the city line" gimme a fucking break.

My family always hid that shit from me instead of teaching me..This created a drive to be curious..

If my parents were more open and explained things to me about the gun and made me used to it,I would not have been curious..I taught my kids how to shoot when they were young and we go to target practice once in a great while...My kids dont see guns as people killers.. They see them as a hobbie, And thats exactly what they define in our household. Shooting is an art form and there are so many techniques and I find it very intresting..

My kids can give a shit about my guns and they have NO CURIOSITY what so ever..They dont ask to hold or see them Like I did when I was a kid. I proved my wife wrong.. MOst my family cant stand the fact I have guns in the house...It all comes down to the parent and how you teach your children...

Same with a family that went out and bought quads..They had no clue how to ride..They go out and the dad had to be hospitaized cause he flew over a canyon.. Now you have lawsuits so they start Banning shit...

You can't buy a 2-stroke quad anymore over 350cc's WHY cause there too dangerous.. They banned the Quadzilla 5oo cause it had too much power..Too many people sued Suzuki so they stopped production..THESE people were never taught how to ride.. It is not fair for others who are experienced that don't have the option anymore to go out and buy a 500.

Weather it's a Gun,Knife or pots and pans.. The gun is NOT the issue here.. The Problem is this Kid's backround..More then likely His parents are fucked up...

None of my firearms in the house are loaded nor have clips in them.. None have firing pins either..I'm finatical with firearms..And my kids see that.. And you know what?? They will be the same when they grow upand have pure respect for them..IF this kid did not have a gun who would have turned to something else..Perhaps a Bomb...

Oh another thing I wanted to say here.. This is theory only but makes alot of sense.. So many of the things that happen here in America eventually tricle into the rest of the world..

England had a impecible reputation for there school system,Well guess what not anymore..Europe used to point there finger at how stupid Americans are and there school systems are bad.. Guess what...It's gonna hit the rest of the world..

Europe was saying those stupid Americans with there guns..You have 18 people dead now right..So what are you gonna say about that..

My point is what happens here today will eventually happen where you live.It just happens here first..But I'n sure as hell not gonna look down on Germany for what happened like some Europeans look down on USA when shit happens here..

you are what i called a responsible gun owner,,, this is how all gun owners should be,,, model gun owner

but its a shame that some ignorant gun owner do not take these percautions and end up having an accident because there kids was "CURIOUS" with it,,,

as for me i been in the military and shot practically every type of weapon there was,,

from m-16 all the way to the stinger missle,,,

i know what kind of damage there capable off and without proper training in the wrong hands in get be deadly (seen people get hurt even just cleaning a 50 cal)
