The difference between jim and I....

1. He's dillusional.

2. he makes threads about me, without using my name in the title. I make threads about him, with his name in title.

3. He's gotten evicted. I have never.

4. He more then likley doesnt shower, nor shave more then once every 6 months. I do.

5. He is sick and twisted, I am not.

6. He is broke, I am not.

7. He think's he's going to win the game, but he won't.

8. His wife is more then likely NOT happily married. I am.

9. He works a day job. I do not.

10. He is a loser. I am not.

You don't need to cry about it, I'm trying to help you here. It's always good to know the basic words of your native language.

Then you'd know its 'delusional' - not 'dillusional'.

One's clearly a spelling mistake, while the other is mixing up simple words. We all make typos and sometimes even spelling mistakes.

I guess it's sort of like forgetting the apostrophe in a contraction of "it is", right? I suspect you probably know it's supposed to be there, I mean you even used an apostrophe earlier and everything. In this case you probably missed it by accident.

You're correct.

However I was pointing out your earlier selective admonishment of phonetic errors. In your haste to demonstrate your obviously superior grasp of your native language - I would have thought 'dillusional' would have been more readily apparent than confusion between 'than' and 'then'.

I never said I had an obvious superior grasp, simply that I know the basics. Things like "then" and "than" are as simple, or at least should be, as "two", "too" and "to".

In one case it's cleary spelled wrong, as the end result was a word that doesn't exist.

Sadly, in the age of spellcheckers, I'll admit to being a lousy speller. Dictionary.com is open 99% of the time on my computer.

you two should get your own board since it seems that 50% of the threads lately are you two banging on each other... what started out as somewhat amusing has become quite irritating....

I use dictionary.com often also, even though my spelling is gouda.
