Ask Me Anything About Erotic Stories
Hey guys, everyone here has taught me so much, I thought I'd try to give a little back. I'm a published erotica author. I've written for Playgirl, Penthouse Variations and I'm in the Best New Erotica Writers Anthology and the Best S/M Anthology and lots more.
I know some of you like to write erotica for fun, maybe you'd like to use it on your sites (it's a great sticky content item). If you have a burning question about erotic fiction - ask away!! Cyn |

Hey Cyn... when it comes to the stories you are THE BOMB! Well in other ways too for that matter. But I do have a question:
Do you find that the stories create a better attraction for an increasing market of women looking at erotic material online or are you finding men as the primary market? Also is there a preferred length? Do people like longer multi poage stories or just the old several paragraphs of like a Penthouse Forum? Onay one more... has anyone tried serializing an erotic story? Doing them a chapter at a time in a weekly updated fashion to keep people interested?

http://www.cozyfrog.com/hopcorner/go...ries/index.asp But you're better off buying a story pack. Text Writers has some http://www.textwriters.com/storypacks.html JDSampson (my alter ego) has a couple. http://store1.esellerate.net/store/c...19&pc=iYYjV6JM Or you could hire a writer to craft stories for your niche but that might cost you $20 per story and up. |

You're a bad writer? Hard to tell. There's a lot of competition to get published in the big mags like Penthouse. You have to study the magazine and craft a story that fits in with the style, length and niche they usually publish. Then you have to build up a thick skin, because with writing comes rejection. Variations told me "don't quit your day job" when I sent them my first story. So I learned more, honed my skills and now I've published with them a number of times. So never say never. |

I worked with a mistress and I wrote a blog that seemed to be her talking about training of a particular slave each day of a week. So for example, it's Frank's week and he's put through his paces Mon, Tues, Weds, each day he's subjected to some new sexy torment - climaxing (so to speak) by Friday's edition of the blog. A great tool but time consuming to do well. Cyn |

So, the answer is OFTEN! If I don't get turned on then I'm not doing a very good job writing, am I??? The only exception is when I'm hired to write in a niche that really doesn't do it for me and that's tough. For example, I'm needle squimish, so if I had to write a sexy piercing story that would be tough. I could probably do it with some research but it wouldn't turn me on. Cyn |
