You need to get your energy up for your four hour stay in the store.

i hit the ikea in houston pretty much every month or so, and they are one of the reasons my wife drags me there :(

MontrealPimp 02-26-2006 10:19 AM

I love ikea, I can't help but spend hours in there each time I go, there is so much to buy in there, it never ends. Yes their meatballs are insane! Their hotdogs are unique too, they are like sweet on the outside, I think they glaze them with some sort of a light syrup, who knows..

I think I am going to pass by today, I need a few things.

Aahhh, do as i suggest, just half/half of meat/ox, then they're getting much better....btw. IKEA's meatballs are worse than pizza, but i suppose they are better abroad, since Ingvar Kamprad (IKEAS founder) has moved his fortune to the Netherlands. We in Sweden cannot expect anything but the worst :1orglaugh

You are a soul-mate, Sarah. I thought I was the only one who went to Ikea just to eat.

Peaches 02-26-2006 07:38 PM

I have heard about these! Ikea isn't my taste in furniture at all (though I have heard they have some lamps I might like) but the meatballs seem like it's worth a trip :)

foolio 02-26-2006 08:00 PM

Had some the other day while the wife was shopping lol - they were ok... not worth a special trip or anything like that.

wonder if woj will get the 50....

i didn't know there are meatballs in a furniture shop... i think this thread had me convinced. i might try that.

phogirl69 02-27-2006 04:02 AM

I've gotten the ikea meatballs as takeout before, I didn't want to eat at the restaurant there, so I just do carryout and bring it home to eat. There's an ikea 5-7 min drive from my house. I'm lazy so I think a 5 min drive is far, ideally I would live right next to it.

Their salmon is good too.

Ikea is really cheap and addicting like crack.

PussyTeenies 02-27-2006 04:11 AM

its odd.. it looks odd. tastes funky.. still when I'm in Ikea .. i get them

Nicky 02-27-2006 04:31 AM

I have never tasted Ikea's own meatballs, I always make my own at home, but my mom makes the best ones :)

DutchTeenCash 02-27-2006 04:33 AM

I am also a cheapskate and with two meals for £5 on weekdays it is a cheap date.

BoneGirl 03-01-2006 01:33 PM

I'm vegetarian and now even I want their balls in my mouth?

calibra 03-01-2006 02:35 PM

They cook well in Ikea. Their hot dogs are not bad either :thumbsup

shermo 03-01-2006 02:46 PM

Never tried those, nor have I ever seen the store. I guess if I ever go, I'd better shove some balls in my mouth.. In a non homo way of course.

webair 03-01-2006 03:01 PM
