Certified Copies Of Major Indictments Against More Than Twenty US Gov't. Officials

BREAKING NEWS: it must happen by 12noon this Friday!!
Date: Tue, 25 Oct 2005 18:42:27 -0700

CERTIFIED COPIES OF MAJOR INDICTMENTS AGAINST MORE THAN TWENTY U.S.
GOV'T. OFFICIALS HAVE ALLEGEDLY BEEN OBTAINED BY A "MEDIA OUTLET"

If the Attorney General of the United States fails in his duty to
properly accept, process and reveal the indictments by 12:00 Noon,
EDT, this Friday, October 28, 2005, then the media outlet will
publish same.

These Indictments will rock the entire world; will probably cause a
virtual collapse of the federal government of the United States and
plunge the nation into political chaos on a scale never before seen.

The jig is up and the clock is ticking Mr. Attorney General. There's
no stopping it now. You may as well just do what has to be done
(regardless of what it will mean to you personally).

When history reports this event, folks will be stunned that a lowly
Secretary/Clerk in a federal Magistrate/Judge's office, fed-up with
shenanigans by the powerful, used a copy machine to expose the truth
to the world.

you can thank me later

That's pretty funny.

Too bad there's only like 2% of the world's population and 1% of the US population who are following this story and can understand what it's about.

My guess is that the Attorney General will deem it not in the interest of the United States to process the indictments.

I've been following the story for a long time. Today should be an interesting day as Fitzgerald was quoted last week as saying that he would release his findings in Washington, not in Chicago.

He arrived at the Washington court house this morning.

CIA leak grand jury may hear charges Wednesday
Wed Oct 26, 2005 9:28 AM ET163

By Adam Entous
"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The federal grand jury investigating the leak of a covert CIA operative's identity was scheduled to meet on Wednesday amid signs the prosecutor in the case was preparing to seek criminal charges.
The grand jury session follows a last-minute flurry of interviews by investigators with CIA operative Valerie Plame's neighbors and a former colleague of top White House adviser Karl Rove.
Plame's identity was leaked after her diplomat husband, Joseph Wilson, accused the administration of twisting prewar intelligence on Iraq.
White House officials were anxiously awaiting the outcome of the leak case since any indicted officials were expected to resign immediately. If indictments are brought, Bush was likely to make a public statement to try to reassure Americans that he is committed to honesty and integrity in government.
Lawyers involved in the case said Fitzgerald appeared close to bringing indictments, with an announcement expected as early as Wednesday, after the grand jury meets.
The grand jury is slated to expire on Friday unless Fitzgerald extends it.
The White House has refused to answer questions about Vice President Dick Cheney's role in the case.
According to a New York Times report, Cheney's chief of staff, Lewis Libby, learned about Plame in a conversation with Cheney on June 12, 2003, weeks before her identity became public in a newspaper column by Robert Novak on July 14, 2003.
Libby's notes indicate Cheney got his information about Plame from then-CIA Director George Tenet, according to the Times. The White House would neither confirm nor deny the account.
Fitzgerald's investigation has centered on Libby and Rove, President George W. Bush's top political adviser. Other aides may also be charged, lawyers said.
Lawyers involved in the case said it could be difficult for Fitzgerald to charge administration officials with knowingly revealing Plame's identity.
They said Fitzgerald appeared more likely to seek charges for easier-to-prove crimes such as making false statements, obstruction of justice and disclosing classified information.
But there were 11th-hour signs that Fitzgerald could still bring charges for the leak itself.
FBI agents on Monday night questioned some of Plame's neighbors about whether they knew about her CIA work before her identity was leaked to the press. The interviews could help Fitzgerald show that Plame's status had been a closely-guarded secret."

CIA Leak Charges Set to Be Handed Out
By Caroline Daniel
The Financial Times
Wednesday 26 October 2005

Indictments in the CIA leak investigation case are expected to be handed down by a grand jury on Wednesday, bringing to a head a criminal inquiry that threatens to disrupt seriously President George W. Bush's second term.

On Tuesday night, news reports, supported by a source close to the lawyers involved in the case, said that target letters to those facing indictment were being issued, with sealed indictments to be filed on Wednesday and released by the end of the week.

Those in legal jeopardy may include Lewis "Scooter" Libby, vice-president Dick Cheney's chief of staff, and Karl Rove, Mr. Bush's hief political strategist.

Mr. Cheney himself has also been linked to the inquiry into the leaking of the name of an undercover CIA operative, according to a story in Tuesday's New York Times.

Patrick Fitzgerald, special prosecutor, has said he would announce any conclusion to his 22-month investigation in Washington.

The New York Times report said Mr. Cheney had talked with Mr. Libby on June 12 2003 about the fact that the wife of former ambassador Joseph Wilson, a critic of the administration's claims about Iraq, worked at the agency. The identity of his wife, Valerie Plame, was first disclosed by Robert Novak in an syndicated column on July 14 2003, which triggered the inquiry.

The suggestion appears to contradict comments in late 2003 from Mr. Cheney that he did not know who had sent Mr. Wilson to Niger in February 2002 to investigate claims that Saddam Hussein was trying to buy uranium. They also cast some doubt on statements Mr. Libby is reported to have made to the grand jury that he may have learned about Ms Plame's job from journalists.

On Tuesday Scott McClellan, White House spokesman, declined to comment on the reports about Mr. Cheney. He came under fire again for his own denials in 2003 that White House officials had played no role in leaking the name of Ms Plame. Robert Luskin, Mr. Rove's lawyer, declined to comment on whether his client had received a letter. A spokeswoman for Mr. Cheney also declined to comment. Mr. Rove and Mr. Libby have continued to play an active role in advising the president. Mr. Libby was part of the committee that picked Ben Bernanke as the president's nominee for chairman of the Federal Reserve.

Mr. Rove is involved in shoring up the beleaguered nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.

Mr. Bush has praised Mr. Fitzgerald's deft handling of the inquiry, which could deflate any later attempts to paint him as a partisan prosecutor over-reaching his mandate.

However, Frank Luntz, Republican pollster and strategist. said: "If [Fitzgerald] indicts, they [the White House] will have no choice but to attempt to demonise him. I think that is going to be really, really tough."

Wrong. Not going to happen today.

TCV News
No Fitzgerald Indictments Today
October 26, 2005 11:26 AM EST
By Sher Zieve ? A spokesman for Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has announced that no indictments will be issued on Wednesday. The long awaited potential indictments for the ostensible ?outing? of former covert CIA agent Valerie Plame has been put off for at least another day.
It had been earlier reported by both the NY Times and Reuters News Service that indictments may not be filed, regarding the original underlying charge of the outing. But, the two news services reported that indictments may come in regards to conflicting testimonies due to memory lapses of the potential defendants.
Indictments against Bush Administration officials may come as early as Thursday. The tenure of the grand jury hearing the case is due to expire on Friday.

I am glad Sandy Berger got a hand slap for sneaking out classified documents and losing them from the archives. No indictment for him....hmmmm. I am neither Repub or Dem but I see that as being alot more serious than forgetting a conversation someone had two years ago. I remember a former President that forgot alot of times about things in front of a grand jury and never indicted. I am for voting out all members of both parties and starting fresh. Bullshit abounds with the Republicans and Democrats both.

Only 20? That's not too bad. Over 120 people were convicted and went to jail from the Clinton government, for things like accepting bribes from foreign gov's, etc....

What about President George W. Bush, Vice-President Richard Cheney, Bush Chief of Staff Andrew Card, Cheney Chief of Staff I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, former Attorney General John Ashcroft, imprisoned New York Times reporter Judith Miller and former Senior Cheney advisor Mary Matalin and probably many more down the food chain? :D

Well, 1 out of 20 ain't too bad... NOT! You are a nut! There MAY be 1 or 2 more down the road, but that still leaves ya of by 17-18 indictments. Borrow pornguy's tinfoil hat, and life won't hurt so much.
