No Fitzgerald Indictments Today

By Sher Zieve ? A spokesman for Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has announced that no indictments will be issued on Wednesday. The long awaited potential indictments for the ostensible ?outing? of former covert CIA agent Valerie Plame has been put off for at least another day.
It had been earlier reported by both the NY Times and Reuters News Service that indictments may not be filed, regarding the original underlying charge of the outing. But, the two news services reported that indictments may come in regards to conflicting testimonies due to memory lapses of the potential defendants.
Indictments against Bush Administration officials may come as early as Thursday. The tenure of the grand jury hearing the case is due to expire on Friday.
