Program Owners: Hate or love Rapidshare et al.?
First post on this board, hello to all!
This question goes to program owners: Do you consider file sharing systems such as Rapidshare a problem which is not only is a pain in the neck but also hurting your bottom line? Or do you think it is even a chance to get some direct sign-ups from downloaders, provided you have your urls on your pics and vids? Looking forward to your comments. Tom PS. One way to turn the tables on the surfer leecherz is to post large Quicktime vids that have popups/url switching. The forum gets content, the surfer gets to see fresh content, you get traffic. Go for the WIN | WIN | WIN situation

That's for sure an interesting strategy to use them. But what if content from your member area is being shared.
Do program owners consider this "free" advertisment or really a problem for the bottom line? |
