The Scorpion King

My girlfriend and I just came back from seeing the Scorpion King - and it rocked (pun intended).

It didn't have the special effects of the two Mummy movies, but if you liked those two - you'll like this one for sure!

I'm surprised it got two from those two 'movie guys' on tv...I think it's called "Ebert & Ropert?"...

I'm thinking of seeing it on Sunday...so it better be good...then again..I am taking in a matinee showing so I woun't loose too much money if it does suck!

Ya - I saw a matinee. Some people annoy the shit out of me in a movie theater. That's why I like matinees.

Some people are just so rude - whispering loudly on cell phones - talking - excessive coughing. I pay to see a movie - and I want to see and hear it without some asshole ruining it.

Anyone notice that The Rock is playing the main character, and
not Dwayne Johnson?

So, in other words...a character is playing a character. Only the
WWF can pull something off like that.

One more for the king, I guess. Hail Mr. McMahon!!...that man's
a genius.

That's because 95% of the people who know who "The Rock" is, would have no clue who Dwayne Johnson is

Saw it tonight. My girlfriend gave it a C- . I gave it a B. If you want cheesy action and a predictable story it is good.

If you want a good story about a heros and fighting, go rent Conan the Barbarian with Arnold , you definitely get more for your money

Good "mummy"-type movie but so damn cheesy -- the Rock did have some funny scenes though.

wow... I didn't know people would pay to see the Rock in a movie. I guess ya' learn something new every day.

I caught "Murder by Numbers" tonight with my girl. It's the new Sandra Bullock movie and yes, it's worth seeing. Only thing that caught me off guard was the two guys.... they were awful touchy touchy with one another.

To each his own I guess.
