When writing Latina niche text, can I say..."Latin girls" or is that incorrect? Does it have to always be "Latina girls"?

Sometimes it seems to flow better as just "Latin" chicks/girls/whatever.

Quick answer - latina sounds more feminine somehow.

I think that "Latina Girl" is redundant in the same way "female mother" might be.

Latina adj.

Usage Note: The use of the feminine nouns Latina and Chicana is perfectly proper in American English, and failure to do so (as in She is a Latino) may sometimes be resented.

Latin (from Latin Latinus, from Latium, ancient country of Italy)
- of or relating to the peoples or countries using Romance languages; specifically : of or relating to the peoples or countries of Latin America

Latina (American Spanish, feminine of latino Latino)
- a woman of Latin-American origin living in the U.S.
- a woman who is a native or inhabitant of Latin America

So latina would be more proper in the context

Latina can also be used as an adjective, so I think it's perfectly fine to say "she's a latina girl". Saying "she's a latin girl" doesn't explicitly say that she's from south america - it can apply to any member of romance language (italian etc).
It does sound similar to saying "a female girl", but latina doesn't just describe the gender, it also describes the nature of the girl itself, ie from south america. Plus "latina" can refer to a milf or a granny, you want to specify that it's a girl (teen)
