Has anyone ever been PAID for Domain Name Trademark Infringement?
Hey I just got a $150.00 check from the attorneys of a major worldwide company for transferring a Domain Name to them that included their name.
I really thought it happened the other way around -- that they would want me to pay them! The attorney wrote me a letter asking me to remove the site -- so I did -- and that since I was clearly violating their trademark name that they wanted possession of the name in exchange for the $$ I bet all companies are not this friendly!

It's a trick. Once they get the signed check back they sue you for using the domain in bad faith.

So they paid you $150 for a domain that would have cost them $1500 with ICANN had they gone thru the dispute process. You should have held out for a least $1k.
