| anyone who believes in creationism should not be here. but then again.. i've forgotten about the mix and match take we have on religion these days.... with people believing pretty much whatever the fuck they want and ignoring the bits they don't like..yeah... oh well.. as long as it pisses of the church... people will believe in creationism.. but not neccessarily the bible version... |

 | imo creation is just a bunch of bullshit. but then again, the further you go back in time, the more questions appear about where initial matter came from, where the energy came from to combine the shit to what is called earth now, and so on... where did the first organic matter come from ??? once i read an interesting article from a famous scientist (not Hawking), who claimed that the deeper you get into science, the closer you get to god. wicked crap for sure. |

 | I view it this way. God created the world, and then all it's creatures started to evolve, but the sole creater is GOD. |

so true man. religion is the source of all evil. if others disagree, they can blow me. i just wish that someday smart scientists come up with an all-relating mathematical formula that would blow all the bullshit about creation out of the water. god was created by humans in times they couldn't explain things we can today. ah fuck this discussion, I don't want the newbie to win a DVD, so fuck it. nite.

 | maybe when computers gain sentience and exponentially outstrip our mental capacity (to the extent that we cannot even comprehend how much more capable they will be) with chilled silicon they'll find an answer... and once they've finished overthrowing us and making us their slaves someguy will be having an argument over this and go.. "duh, the answers 0010001.. - fag." |

 | i doubt we will ever know how the universe was created. we have a very good idea of how the earth and our solar system was created. some things are just too far over our heads to understand. |

 | Martians. We are actually the decendants of martians who genetically engineered themselves so they/we could survive on this planet. Don't believe me? 1. The human body clock is more suited to a 25 hour day than a 24 hour day. 2. The martian day is 25 hours long. Not much proof I know, but the creationists have a lot of followers with a lot less proof. |

 | If we came from monkeys, why are they still here? it boils down to this: where did that nice, bright yellow banana that can fall to the ground and lay there for a week and still be good to eat come from? or what about that tempting orange with the same scenario? man didn't create them. if you need some logic, that's it. -Big Easy |

Here's how it works... A group of apes left Africa, while still leaving some apes in Africa. The apes that left underwent different struggles to survive in their new home such as weather, food, predators, etc. In order to survive they had to adapt and change. They changed just a tiny bit over a long period of time, while the original group back in Africa may or may not have changed at all. Repeat this over millions years.
