imo creation is just a bunch of bullshit. but then again, the further you go back in time, the more questions appear about where initial matter came from, where the energy came from to combine the shit to what is called earth now, and so on... where did the first organic matter come from ???

once i read an interesting article from a famous scientist (not Hawking), who claimed that the deeper you get into science, the closer you get to god.

I view it this way. God created the world, and then all it's creatures started to evolve, but the sole creater is GOD.

i just think it's so arrogant with our little chemical human brains to think that because matter exists some big guy in the sky sitting paternally looking over us is responsible for it. we immediately put a human-centric dad in charge of everything.. it was only 400 years ago we thought the universe revolved around us quite literally....

You can't have an intelligent first cause without getting into a cycle, each creator needing a creator so it can come into existence and so on ad infinitum.

To say the first cause has always existed is an illogical cop-out!

i doubt we will ever know how the universe was created. we have a very good idea of how the earth and our solar system was created.

Only people who dont know what evolution is ask this question. And it's apes, not monkeys.

Here's how it works... A group of apes left Africa, while still leaving some apes in Africa. The apes that left underwent different struggles to survive in their new home such as weather, food, predators, etc. In order to survive they had to adapt and change. They changed just a tiny bit over a long period of time, while the original group back in Africa may or may not have changed at all. Repeat this over millions years.

Who created God? If the answer is "He always was," then to paraphrase Bertrand Russell, "If anything always was, why does it have to be God? Why not the Cosmos itself?"

I think it's pretty evident that some humans are more evolved than others!
